Refund & cancellation policy

We're a small team. When you book a project, we set aside the time for it, turn down other work and start planning right away, so we keep this short and simple.

Payments and deposits

Your project is booked once we receive payment, or a deposit if your invoice offers one. Payments and deposits are non-refundable once work on your project has begun. Work includes pre-production planning, scripting, scheduling, travel arrangements, filming, editing and design.

24-hour change of mind

If you change your mind, you can cancel within 24 hours of paying and receive a full refund, as long as we haven't started work on your project yet. After 24 hours, or once work has started, payments aren't refundable.

Cancelling a project

  • If you cancel after work has started, we keep the payments made so far and will send you any work completed up to that point.
  • You won't be billed for work we haven't done. Any balance for work already completed is still due.
  • Travel costs we've already paid and can't get back (flights, lodging, rentals) may be billed.

Rescheduling a shoot

  • Need to move a filming date? Let us know at least 48 hours ahead and we'll reschedule once at no charge.
  • With less than 48 hours' notice, or after the first reschedule, we may charge for time and travel already committed.
  • If weather, illness or an emergency on our side gets in the way, we'll reschedule at no cost to you.

Getting it right

Instead of refunds, we make it right. Every project includes the rounds of revisions described in your quote, and we'll keep working with you until the finished piece matches what we agreed on. Changes beyond the original scope are quoted separately before we do them.

If we can't finish

If we're ever unable to complete your project for reasons on our side, we'll refund the part of your payment that covers work we didn't do.

Delivered files

Once final files are delivered, the project is complete and payments aren't refundable.
